Ewan Macbeth is a Scottish artist based between Rotterdam & Edinburgh. Working with filmmaking and photography his practice explores the (un)reality of propaganda. In 2016 he worked as an artist against Brexit, creating poster artworks that featured in leading British publications. In 2017 he took part in the RSA New Contemporaries and also exhibited in Summerhall. In 2018, he completed a commission for the Glasgow International Festival and premiered a film at the EYE Film Institute in Amsterdam. 2020 brings a Mondriaan Fonds Emerging Artists Grant.
